Liquid biofertilizers carry living microorganisms. How the product is stored, mixed and applied decides how many of those microbes survive to reach the root zone. These simple practices help you get full value from every litre.
1. Store it right
- Keep containers in a cool, dry, shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.
- Store away from pesticides, chemical fertilizers and fuel.
- Check the batch details and expiry date, and use the product within its shelf life.
2. Mix with care
- Shake the container well before use.
- Use clean water. Heavily chlorinated water can harm beneficial microbes; if you only have chlorinated tap water, let it stand for a few hours before mixing.
- Do not mix biofertilizers in the same tank with chemical fungicides, bactericides or copper-based products.
- If seed needs a chemical seed treatment, apply the chemical first and the biofertilizer last, just before sowing.
- Prepare only as much solution as you can use the same day.
3. Time your application
- Foliar sprays: spray in the early morning or late evening, when it is cooler and leaves stay moist longer. Avoid spraying just before rain.
- Soil application: apply to moist soil, since microbes need moisture to move and multiply.
- Mixing with well-decomposed FYM or compost before soil application gives microbes an organic home and a food source.
4. Applying through drip
- Make sure filters and laterals are clean before you inject.
- Run the system for a short while to wet the soil, inject the biofertilizer, then keep irrigating briefly to flush the lines and carry the product into the root zone.
5. Seed treatment and root dipping
- Coat seeds evenly, dry them in the shade (never in direct sun) and sow the same day.
- For transplanted crops, dip seedling roots in the prepared solution just before planting, following the label.
6. Think in seasons, not single sprays
Biological inputs work by building beneficial populations in and around the root zone. Regular use through the season, as part of balanced nutrition, gives better results than a one-off application.
Every product has its own recommended dose. See the dosage details on each product page, such as Nature Grow and Nature Stim, or contact our team for a crop-specific schedule.
